Lord's Table [known also as the Lord's Supper or Communion]
Christ gave this local church ordinance on the night prior his crucifixion. He instituted the memorial service for those who are members of his local church at Jerusalem. The early church maintained this pattern in Acts 2:41-47 & I Corinthians 11:23-33.
Baptism [ Baptism - immersion]
Is for those who have asked Christ to be their Lord and Savior. By this step of obedience, you identify yourself publicly with Jesus and this local church. If you are interested to follow the Lord in this step of obedience, please see the Pastor after the services or come forward to talk with him during the invitation.
***A Word Concerning Infant Baptism.
If the purpose of Baptism is to publicly identify a believer in Jesus Christ, you may well be asking yourself, “What was the significance of my Baptism as a baby?” In the Bible, we find parents bringing their children to Jesus. He held them, prayed for them, and told us to welcome them. However, He did not baptize them, and He did not tell anyone else to baptize them. Baptism is for those who have made a personal decision to trust Christ alone for their salvation.
If you were baptized as a child, perhaps it was the intent of your parents that you would one day be a follower of Christ. Your Baptism as an adult can be viewed as the fulfillment of your parents' wishes.
Dedication of Children - By appointment with Pastor
Since the earliest days, parents have brought their children to be dedicated to the Lord.
The Old Testament gave the format to be followed by the faithful people of Israel.
The Law especially dealt with the child who was the firstborn.
Ancient Pattern & Qualifications of the Parents
1. They must be Israelites
The father’s privileges were dependent upon physical identification - circumcision. “And when a stranger shall sojourn with thee, and will keep the Passover to the Lord, let all his males be circumcised, and then let him come near and keep it: and he shall be as one that is born in the land: for no uncircumcised person shall eat thereof.” Exodus 12:48
2. Obedient to God's Word.
A. Their sin offerings were to be acceptable. (Leviticus 1:)
B. They brought a sacrifice to God's altar.
“for a son, or for a daughter, she shall bring a lamb of the first year for a burnt offering,” Leviticus 12:6
C. They brought an offering to God's house.
“ . . . and all the firstborn of man among thy children shalt thou redeem.” Exodus 13:13c
D. They were responsible for the training of the child.
“And thou shalt teach them (the Laws) diligently unto thy children” Deuteronomy 6:7a
Present Day: Practice & Qualifications of the Parents.

“ And ye fathers provoke not your children to wrath: but bring them up in the nurture and admonition of the Lord.” Ephesians 6:4
